Idea and concept
“Paris in Motion” is a pop-up art exhibition by 24-year-old artist Paris Brosnan, son of actor Pierce Brosnan, which took place on July 18, 2025 in the Visiodrom – a fascinating, immersive space in the listed Gaskessel Wuppertal.
At the center of the show was Brosnan’s “In Motion” series : large-format works, both classically presented on easels and shown in 360-degree projections on the huge surfaces of the Visiodrom. In combination with electronic DJ music, a multi-sensory atmosphere was created in which painting, modern projection technology and sound merged to create an impressive overall experience.
Realization
At the vernissage, around 170 invited guests experienced the presentation of this extraordinary exhibition. Paris Brosnan was present in person and showed himself to be approachable by painting live and thus giving the audience an insight into his artistic process. He expressed his gratitude to the Visiodrom team in emotional words.
A special highlight was the virtual appearance of his father, Pierce Brosnan, from Los Angeles. In a moving video message, he paid tribute to his son’s work and showed his personal support. This moment gave the exhibition an additional familiar and very human touch.
Success
The works in the “In Motion” series met with a great response – both from the public and on the art market. Shortly after the opening, the paintings were already being traded in the five-figure range, exceeding the expectations of many experts.
The combination of immersive projection, live performance, music and celebrity attention made “Paris in Motion” a special experience. For Paris Brosnan, it was not only a significant career step, but also a very personal success that cemented his position as an artist in his own right.
