The textured, loom-like background of the artwork was carefully hand-painted by Johnny. It reflects the symbolism of the Bunnyman as a weave of tangible and imagined threads. Encouraging us to look beyond the mundane everyday, it shifts between planes of the multiverse and embodies the spirit of unwavering curiosity and bravery.

“This character means a lot to me,” explains Johnny. “It came from a recurring dream I had when I was five or six years old. I went to the door of the basement of our house in Kentucky, and when I opened it, I saw a faceless figure standing on the landing at the top of the stairs. He had features, almost like a mannequin, and was made of a membrane containing many small grains of sand in different colors. They flowed through his body in an abstract way.”
