Yvonne Bonaparte
Yvonne Bonaparte is an extraordinary artist from Hamelin whose work is characterized by a deep inner world. Her “otherness” – in particular her experience as a person with Asperger’s autism – is reflected in her art as radical authenticity and transformative energy. She began working artistically at an early age: As a child she stood in front of the camera, later she celebrated great success as a music producer. She achieved gold and platinum status, worked on Falco’s “Egoist”, produced for Die Prinzen, worked on hits such as Joachim Witt’s “Eisenherz” and composed soundtracks for films such as “Mädchen, Mädchen”. She also produced an album for Bushido’s label.
After suffering a serious heart attack in 2019, Bonaparte turned to painting – a medium that had been with her since 2015. Her way of working is intense, almost manic, driven by a deep inner urge. Her paintings possess depth, emotionality and visual power; they are desirable and highly decorative without ever losing their complexity.
Bonaparte’s art is a portal to other dimensions. When she paints, she enters a state of pure creativity in which, as she says, “there is no doubt, no fear and no boundaries – only the unfiltered intention to share love, joy and truth.” Her works often have an effect on viewers like energetic resonance chambers that trigger inner processes and enable transformation.
Her exhibitions are always special overall experiences – this was impressively evident at the Visiodrom, where her works had an immersive effect. Bonaparte is a total work of art. As a soldier of art, as she calls herself, she takes a stand against intellectual stagnation and challenges the limits of perception.
Yvonne Bonaparte is an artist whose work is not only seen, but experienced – a creative force field between worlds and realities.
